Cancer Research
Nearly 10 years ago, we began raising funds for cancer research and believe we are making a real difference supporting scientists on the front lines of finding a cure.
Supporting People with Disabilities
In 2009, Safeway raised more than $10 million for two national organizations focused on serving people with disabilities— Easter Seals and Special Olympics. We have also raised more than $40 million for MDA.
Education
Safeway donates more than $20 million annually to local schools through its partnership with eScrip. Enrolling families into the eScrip program is an easy fundraiser that any school can participate in.
Volunteerism
Many employees generously share their time and talents with the community. They volunteer individually with their families or with co-workers at their favorite community organization.
