When we use the term "minority or "minority group", we're referring to those individuals (or lawfully admitted permanent residents) and are the following racial/ethnic groups:
African-American or Black
Hispanic
Asian or Pacific Islander
American Indian or Alaskan Native

Persons having origins in any of the black racial groups.

All persons of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Central American, or other Spanish cultures or origins, regardless of race.

All persons having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, The Indian subcontinent, or the Pacific Islands. This area includes, for example, China, India, Japan, Korea, the Philippine Islands and Samoa.

All persons having origins in any of the original peoples of North America, and who maintain cultural identification through tribal affiliation or community recognition.
We define a minority-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and or women-owned business as one:



That is at least 51% owned by minorities, service-disabled veterans, or women.

Whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans, women or members of a minority group.

That, if publicly owned, has one or more service-disabled veterans, women or members of a minority group owning 51% (or a controlling share) of the stock.
