How do I obtain a new Club Card
Club Cards are available at your local store. You can print a Club Card application online and take to your local store. If you need a replacement card, please check "replacement" on the application, and we will link your old Club Card to your new one. If you do not have a Club Card and want to shop online, you will automatically be given a virtual card when you register.
How can I update my Club Card information
To update your Club Card information, please Click Here. You can also call Customer Service at 1-877-SAFEWAY (In the US) or at 1-800-SAFEWAY (In Canada) to get your information updated.

How can I request a donation from Vons
By way of background, we operate more than 1,800 stores and each store location has an annual donation budget to assist local organizations that serve their community. Our store managers are responsible for reviewing many requests each year and must carefully manage their budget. Our philosophy is to offer modest, in-kind donations to help as many groups as possible within the store's budgetary limits. For larger donation requests, please contact us to locate our Public Affairs office near you.
How do I apply for career opportunities with Vons
To learn about career opportunities at one of our stores, feel free to apply in person. For all other career opportunities including Pharmacy, Information Technology, Merchandising, Distribution, Human Resources, Marketing etc. Please visit the Careers section of our website.
Can I order gift cards online
Yes! You may order Gift Cards online and they will be mailed directly to your destination. Online gift card orders will not be inlcuded with your home grocery delivery order. To purchase Gift Cards online select the Gift Cards option from the Home Grocery Delivery home page.
I purchased a gift card that does not have the balance on it
If you purchased the gift card in a store, contact Safeway's Customer Service department at 1-877-723-3929 for assistance. Simply provide the activation and sales receipts information along with the inactive gift card # or packaging.
If I order flowers online, whom am I ordering through
Vons has partnered with FTD to provide a link to their web site for floral ordering and delivery to anywhere within the United States. All orders placed through this link are processed through FTD, and is not owned or controlled by Vons. Please consult the privacy and security disclosures on the FTD website for any additional information.

Can I view the weekly sales online
Yes you can. To view sale items, please visit the Weekly Specials link on the Vons.com homepage. Simply enter your zip/postal code, and select "View Weekly Specials" for the store nearest to you.
What products are considered exclusionary items for Vons promotions
Alcohol, tobacco, stamps, event tickets, lottery tickets, gift cards, money orders, sales tax and prescriptions not paid for by the customer. Please Note: This is a partial list with the most common excluded items. Also, state and local laws or agreements sometimes determine what items are excluded. For a complete list of the items that apply to your area, please contact our customer service department.
What is eScrip and how does it work
eScrip is a card registration program. It streamlines the entire fundraising process for non-profit organizations. It requires no advanced purchases or special handling. You can register any or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program. Participating national, regional and local merchants will make contributions to enrolled organizations, based on purchases made by you when you use your registered grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards. By using these registered cards at participating merchants, you generate donations based on a percentage of purchases as determined by each merchant or service provider. Every month the enrolled organizations receive all merchant contributions made on behalf of all participants. A summarized report listing supporters, merchants, and contributions amounts are available online at www.escrip.com.
How can I sign up for eScrip
Customers can go to eScrip's web site: www.escrip.com, and sign up with the school or charity of their choice using the eScrip Coordinator.
Do I live in an area eligible to sign up for eScrip
Currently, we offer eScrip in our Northern California, Phoenix, Vons, Seattle, Portland, Genuardi’s and Eastern divisions.
Does the program run year round

When do I have to renew my eScrip elections
As of Fall 2003, the eScrip program now requires that families renew their Vons (or affiliate) Club Card every year. You must renew your elections each year between August 1st and November 1st. If families do not renew by the November 1st deadline, each year, their Vons purchases will not receive credit for contributions from Vons. After Nov. 1, once the customer does renew, their purchases will again begin crediting from that point forward for contributions. You can either log onto www.escrip.com or call 1-800-801-4973 to renew.
Who do I call if I have problems with my eScrip account
Our Vons Customer Service Center (877-723-3929) can answer general questions regarding the eScrip program, dispute spending, and resolve any Club Card issues. eScrip (www.escrip.com) can assist customers with sign up issues, changing the organization they support, renewal issues, and questions regarding the percentage going to their organization.
How and when will I receive my statements
Statements are mailed out quarterly by email or postal mail.
