Directions Rinse Kombu with cold water before using. Serving Suggestions: 1. Kombumaki-cut rinsed kombu into 1-inch strips. Place strips of cooked pork of fish or vegetables such as burdock or cucumber on top of kombu; roll and tie with a thin strip of kampyo. Add kombu rolls to seasoned broth and boil. 2. Oden-cut rinsed kombu into thin strips; tie into knots. Add to prepared oden and heat through.
