Directions How to Bake the Perfect Potato: 1. Wash and pierce potatoes all around with a fork. 2. Rub the skins with olive oil and sprinkle with a little crushed sea salt. This will add taste to the tuber and prevent it from drying out. 3. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Bake for 45 min - 1 hr or until tender. Optional: Microwave two potatoes for 10 min, then follow step 2 & 3. Reduce oven time to 15 min.
