Organic Whole Grain Black Rice.
Directions We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life. Cooking Instructions: 1. In a medium saucepan bring 1 cup rice, 1-3/4 cup water or broth, and 1 tbsp butter or oil (optional) to a boil. 2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low-simmer, and cook for 30-50 minutes. 3. Remove from heat (keep covered), and let steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork. If rice is to firm at the end of cooking time, add 1-2 tbsp liquid and cook longer. Rice Cooker Instructions: To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same liquid to rice ratio.
