Directions Stovetop Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal: 1/3 cup maple brown sugar oatmeal 3/4 cup water. In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add oats, stir well. Return to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 2-3 minutes, or until desired thickness is reached. Remove from heat and allow to stand 1-2 minutes before serving. Microwave Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal: 1/3 cup maple brown sugar oatmeal. 3/4 cup water. Add oats adn water to a 16 oz. bowl. Microwave for 2 1/2 - 3 minutes, or until desired thickness is reached. After cooking, add a few additional teaspoons of water or milk to the oatmeal if needed to reach your desired consistency.
