Directions For a really flavorful and juicy bird. For turkeys up to 24 lbs. Add brine blend contents to one gallon of water or vegetable stock (low sodium) and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Place the turkey in a brining bag or other large container and add liquid brine mixture. If necessary, add additional cold water so the entire turkey is submerged in the solution. Refrigerate overnight. Remove turkey and discard bag and brine. Rinse turkey and pat dry. Grill or roast to desired doneness. For Deep Fried Turkey: Brine as usual. After brining and rinsing, make sure turkey is completely dry, inside and out, before frying. For Turkey breast only, reduce brine blend, stock and ice water by 50% and refrigerate for 6-9 hours.
