Servings - pasta - water - salt. 2 - 1/4 box - 2 qt. - 1 tsp. 4 - 1/2 box - 3 qt. - 2 tsp. 8 - full box - 5 qt. - 1 tbsp. Step 2: cook time. 3 minutes to al dente pasta. Do not overcook. Step 3: cooking directions: 1. Bring water to a rapid boil. To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt (optional). 2. Add pasta and stir; return to rapid boil. 3. Set your timer for 3 minutes. 4. Pronto pasta bolognese: Tomato basil sauce (24 oz), heated. 1/2 lb cooked ground beef or turkey. Top with parmesan cheese. No bake pasta 'n cheese: Alfredo sauce (15 oz), heated. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Stir to blend. Top with 4-5 crushed, toasted wheat crackers or 2 tbsp Italian style bread crumbs. No sauce in the pantry? Try these ideas. Chopped pasta salad: Rinse pasta in cold water until cooled. Drain. Mix with 1/3 cup Italian salad dressing, 1 pkg (4 or 5 oz) crumbled feta cheese. 1 can (6 oz) sliced black olives. 1/4 cup each of 2-4 varieties of chopped vegetables (such as celery, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, cucumber or red/green onions). Quick pasta florentine: 1/3 cup Italian salad dressing. 1 bag (6 oz) baby spinach. 1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved. 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese. Serve warm. We do not recommend San Giorgio® Quick Cook® pasta for baked pasta dishes. For best results, use our regular San Giorgio® pasta.
