Directions Serving Suggestions: 1) Miso Soup: Add 1 bag dashi-no-moto to 6 cups boiling water in saucepan. Stir in 3 tbsp aka miso or shiro miso until miso dissolves. Just before serving, add 1/2 block tofu, cut in 1-inch cubes along with finely chopped green onions. Makes 4 to 6 servings. 2) Udon, Saimin and Soba: Add 1 bag dashi-no-moto to 6 cups boiling water in saucepan. Stir in 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp salt. Add nama udon or soba, seasoned age (fried bean curd), fish cake slices, egg and chopped green onions; simmer 2 to 3 minutes. Makes 2 to 3 servings.
