Directions You Will Need: 1 stick (12 cup) butter, margarine or spread (Spread should have at least 65% vegetable oil. Heat: Heat oven to 375 degrees F (or 350 degrees F for nonstick cookie sheet). 2. Stir: Stir cookie mix, softened butter, water, and egg in medium bowl until well blended. 3. Drop: Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. For 2 dozen larger cookies, drop by tablespoonfuls. 4. Bake: Bake as directed below or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet. Cool completely; store in airtight container. High altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. Cookie Size: Regular: 7-9 bake time (in minutes). Large: 9-11 bake time (in minutes).
