Directions Cooking: Cooking Time: 20 minutes. Combine 1 cup lentils with 1-1/2 cup water or broth in a pot. Add additional spices if desired & boil for 2-3 minutes, then reduce to simmer. If cooking for salad: cook for 10-15 minutes, or until desired texture is reached.
